Privacy Policy

Baghdine (بگداين) is a restaurant and café guide for Iraq. This page explains plainly what data we collect, why, and how we handle it.

Data we collect

• Account data: username, email, and name (with Google or Apple sign-in, we receive your name and email from that account).
• Location: with your permission, we use your device location to show nearby places on the map. We do not store a history of your movements.
• Content you post: reviews, photos, and lists are public content visible to other users.
• Usage & crash data: we use Google Firebase for analytics and crash reporting to improve the app, anonymized where possible.
• Notifications: if you allow notifications, we store your device's FCM token to deliver them.

What we don't do

• We do not sell your data to third parties.
• We do not show tracking-based ads.
• We never ask for financial information.

Data sharing

Data is shared only with the core service providers that run the app: Google Firebase (analytics, crash reporting, push) and Google Maps. Each is governed by its own privacy policy.

Deleting your account & data

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time — contact us and we will complete the deletion within 30 days.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published here with an updated date.
